Folktales Reimagined
June - September, 2022 | Portland, Oregon
Folktales inspire people from age 9 to 99. They harken back to childhood and stories of culture and home. This exhibit tells the stories of our past from the voices of contemporary artists. The exhibit hall was the home to work from local artists who reimagined classic folktales from their own perspective.
Scope of Work

Interpretation
Each of the signs was designed to read like a story itself. Each included a short summary of the story, information about the authors, and more facts to give context to the importance of each story to its country of origin.
Behind the Scenes
There were many different types of artwork that came into the show. Each required specific installation instructions. This was a heavy ceramic piece with hanging ceramic pieces attached.
This was two different pieces of artwork hung separately with a chain hanging between the two, as requested by the artist.
